Consultation

When you make the initial call to Mr. Akers at Akers Law Offices, PLLC, you will speak directly with one of our personal injury attorneys or our staff. Following a preliminary conversation over the phone, a member of the firm will schedule a time for you to meet with one of our attorneys in person. The firm offers free consultations for any matter and we will meet with you at your home, your business or in the hospital if you are unable to travel to our office.

Please bring the following documents, if you have them, with you to your initial consultation:

  • Copy of the police report
  • Any photographs taken at the scene of the accident or of your injuries
  • The defective product or device
  • The name and location of the health care facility
  • Medical Report
  • Insurance
  • Vehicle Registration
  • Witnesses’ names and contact information
  • Any other documents you believe are important

During the consultation Mr. Akers will examine the facts and circumstances related to your situation. He will provide you with an explanation of how these types of legal matters are handled and also the nature of the laws pertaining to your situation. You will have your questions answered and you’ll be given an honest opinion regarding the best possible legal action for your situation.

This initial consultation is a chance for you to meet our attorneys and staff, explain your legal issues and needs and you are not bound to anything until you feel that you are ready for Mr. Akers and Akers Law Offices to represent and protect your rights. Should you feel that Mr. Akers and Akers Law Offices, PLLC is the proper firm to handle your needs or the needs of your loved ones, you will sign a retainer agreement naming Akers Law Offices, PLLC as your legal representative. We look forward to that opportunity and we appreciate our clients’ trust in us.
